
Deh Min Wu is from Taiwan. He was previously the principal of a Chinese school in Florida. He taught Chinese at Chinese schools and community college. He will be a substitute teacher as needed.
Wen Li Ng is a Chinese native speaker from Malaysia. She has tutored in Chinese, math, and piano. She enjoys sharing her passion for the Chinese language and culture with others and thrives in promoting intercultural exchange in her local community. Her volunteer position will include translating and assisting in student group learning.

Miiko Gibson is a half-Japanese, half-Chinese immigrant from Singapore who came to the U.S. in 1996. She has studied Chinese as a second language for ten years. Miiko, who has a Masters in Education, was a school teacher for more than a decade. Teaching comes quite naturally to her and she loves kids. She sees teaching Chinese as an opportunity to reach out to the community and to inspire her family to embrace this amazing language. She adores Traditional Chinese characters for their eloquence and is now reveling in her “re-education” both in the written and spoken form even as she prepares to teach the little ones.
Chanda Shaw has been a student at Huntsville Chinese Village since 2005. Her job will include data entry, web/email management, editing, organizing media files, and bookkeeping. She is currently part of the high school Chinese class.
